Before you start

Before you do anything else, start with the forensics questions (or you can start with updating, then forensics). Sometimes the forensics have something to do with files you may need to delete in the future.

Start with Read me file. Do all the stuff on there first or use the stuff below if you need help on any of it.

Users and Policies

• Make sure there are no Un-authorized Users currently on the machine. If there are, remove them.
• Also, ensure that the users with administrator permissions are supposed to have those permissions. If they are not change it in the users GUI.
• Run Will’s Check Passwords and Lockout Policy Automation script to Enforce proper password policies based on the Read me and general good password policies.
• Make sure no users have special password requirement that may override system wide requirements (special flags). This is important, but you’ll have to search it up on your own.
• The GUI is also pretty helpful with basic administration of users and groups.

Downloading another browser (per read me request)

run: apt install (browser name)

example: apt install firefox

if that doesnt work you can try:

apt download (browser)

apt install (browser)
